Run a social media contest around the spring holidays
 There are some great holidays in the spring that you can create online contests around. Easter, Mother’s Day, and Earth Day all occur during the spring months. Have the prize correlate to the holiday. For example, you can post a picture of a jar of jelly beans and ask your followers to guess how many there are for the Easter holiday.

Spring cleaning sales
 For many of us, with spring comes spring cleaning! Have a spring cleaning sale at your brick-and-mortar business. Offer discounted prices to products that you are looking to move out to make room for new inventory.

Get involved in the community.
If you are looking for more followers on your social media platforms or looking to get more people into your store, sometimes getting out in the community can help. Go where your potential clients might be. Is there an Earth Day celebration going on in your city? Offer your time and volunteer at the event. This will allow you to meet new people and tell them who you are and what you do. It will also show people that you aren’t just looking to be a business person in the area; you are looking to give back to the community where you work!

Have a sidewalk sale
Take advantage of the warmer weather by having a sidewalk sale in front of your shop. This will help catch the people walking by that don’t necessarily have plans to walk into your store. Maybe something will catch their eye when they are walking by. A sidewalk sale is a great way to sell to people who aren’t walking into your store but just passing by.

Have a tax refund sale
Many people are trying to get their taxes done to potentially get a refund check during March and April. Promote a tax refund sale and encourage people to treat themselves to something after completing their taxes! Or offer a discount to those who show proof that they submitted their taxes before April 15th.
